Starline is an affordable, safe and comfort daily passenger-train service between Windhoek and all major towns connected to the rail system. Desert Express is Namibia’s distinctive rail experience that provides a unique luxury excursion across the magnificent landscape of Namibia. The train offers exclusive overnight weekend trips between Windhoek and Swakopmund. Desert Express also offers a 7 to 10 days excursion to the South as well as Etosha National Park. TransNamib provides locomotive power for hauling capacity to visiting foreign tourist trains, coming mostly from South Africa. Regular tourist trains that visit our beautiful scenery and landscapes are the Rovos Rail and Shongololo.
