Transnamib’s Board of Directors were appointed by the Minister of Works and Transport, Honourable John Mutorwa and the Minister of Public Enterprises, Honourable Leon Jooste in February 2019.
The Minister has appointed Lionel Matthews to the board of directors of the company. He will serve as the Chairperson of the board and his term will run from 08 February 2022 until 07 February 2025. Mr. Matthews, formerly the Nedbank Namibia Managing Director, now has an office at the Ministry of Finance as an adviser.
Adv. Sigrid Tjijorokisa holds a degree in Law, a Certificate in Legislative Drafting, a Certificate in Corporate Governance, an Advance Diploma in Banking Law and Practice and a Certificate in Compliance Management. She has undertaken a Management Development Programme.

Gaenor Michaels holds an LLB IV, obtained a certificate from Rhodes Investec Business School and a legal Education Certificate from a Legal Practitioners Board.
Josephine Shikongo holds an MPA in Strategic Public Management and Leadership, Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) (UK), Chartered Management Accountant (ACMA), Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA), CIMA Advanced Diploma in Management Accounting, CIMA Diploma in Management Accounting, CIMA Certificate in Business Accounting and a National Diploma: Accounting and Finance.
Vincent Mberema holds a B. Com, Diploma in Data Processing and System Analysis. He has undertaken a Senior Management Development Programme.
Dr Michael Ochurub holds a Doctor in Philosophy, Masters of Education, Diploma in Computer Literacy (Dip.
