SENIOR HUMAN RESOURCE OFFICER (EMPLOYEE BENEFITS)

PURPOSE OF THE JOB
To supervise and exercise control over the administration of the employee’s benefits (i.e. retirement, funeral scheme, medical, home ownership, pension fund, payroll, etc.) in the Company to ensure the effective and efficient running of such services and compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
• Degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent qualification
• Four years’ experience in a human resource administration environment
• Good knowledge and understanding of human resources discipline
• Knowledge of HR policies, procedures and systems of Namibia and RSA legislation regulating the conditions of employment and other relevant benefits.
• Working knowledge of all aspects of the Namibia Pension Fund industry as well as the payroll (SAP)
• Good (written and verbal) communication skills
• Problem-solving, planning, short-term skills
• Interpersonal skills
• Computer and numerical skills (ability to compile and analyze data
