MANAGER: HEALTH, SAFETY AND LOSS CONTROL

PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

To manage the Company’s health, safety, loss control and fire prevention functions in order to minimize the risk of losses within the Company.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
• B. Degree in Safety Management or equivalent qualification
• Five (5) years’ experience in an industrial safety management environment
• Good knowledge and in-depth understanding of industrial health, safety, and loss control, an in-depth understanding of safety, and relevant environment laws, legislation, and regulations.
• Interpersonal skills, analytical skills, good communication skills, problem solving, and planning skills (short, medium, and long term)
• Self-starting initiatives, creativity, independence, assertive, persistent and consistent, flexible, integrity and ability to work with a wide variety of people, time management, visionary and goal directed
