MANAGER: CORPORATE COMMUNICATIONS
Centre: Windhoek
Grading level: D2
Department: Commercial and Marketing

PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
Develop and manage an internal and external communication strategy for TransNamib, with the main objective to raise the company’s corporate profit and image in all related sectors; provide communication support and act as the primary Public Relations (PR) liaison

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Communication, Journalism, Marketing, Public Relations or related field.
• Five years’ corporate media and communication experience.
• Experience in the transport or logistics environment will be an added advantage.
• Enforce compliance to communication and public relations policy and procedures at all levels.
• Identify and analyze the company’s media coverage.
• Develop and implement a communication strategy.
• Ensure sound relationships with all internal and external stakeholders.
• Develop and manage a records and data management capacity that will ensure highest levels of data integrity.
• Should be competent in report writing, analysis, and interpretation.
• Presentation and Public Speaking.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Sound Business Acumen.
• Registration with PRISA.
