PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
To develop audit programs and audit the Company’s business processes, to ensure that established policies, internal procedures and other applicable regulations are adhered to.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
• Degree in Internal Auditing and/or Accounting or equivalent qualification
• Two years of practical experience in an internal auditing environment
• Working knowledge of Auditing and Accounting Standards, business laws and applicable regulations
• Working knowledge and understanding of accounting principles
• Practical exposure to internal auditing systems, processes and procedures, Risk-based audit methodology
• Strong analytical, organizing, and relationship building skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Research, time management, writing, and presentation skills
• Ability to analyze complex processes and determine the efficiency and effectiveness of processes and related controls
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
• Development of audit programs
• Conducting of audit tests
• Processing of audit report findings and recommendations
• Risk assessment
